From 2b1k to ecoheads to P.O.D

In 2012, ECOHEADS Co-Founders Benny Risher, Ben Cohen and Kobi Bokshish changed the way hairdressers impact the planet.

Passionate about the industry and with a deep respect for the future, the pair identified salon colour and basin functionality as the key culprit of product and resource wastage. An award-winning hairdresser and salon owner, Kobi was tired of washing excess chemicals down the drain, jeopardising the health of staff and clientele. And for Benny – inventor and driver of ECOHEADS R&D - the room for improvement and environmental implications were too great to ignore.

P.O.D was born

The vision of a clean, water delivery treatment system (using the ECOHEADS shower head) came to Benny in 2014 , in 2018 the colour concept was added to the system following Kobi’s middle of the night dream. In 2023 it goes to market. In 2023 it goes to market following thousands of samples and a long journey of evolution ahead. Another world first, P.O.D by ECOHEADS reduces the tone and treatment service down to 18 litres and in stage one, offers global shades that can be customised to suit the modern consumer’s needs. All natural, no developer required toning in under 10-minutes, no matter the hair type.
